Film&Food @ World Cinema Amsterdam

 

 

Watching films on an empty stomach is no fun. and you don’t have to during World Cinema Amsterdam: Throughout the festival, tasty meals are served in Rialto.

**This arrangement can only be ordered online, up to one day prior to the screening. On the day of the screening itself though, you can buy a meal voucher for € 10.

Turkish cinema takes centre stage during the festival. All the more reason to offer our visitors Turkish cuisine! We’ve asked the people of Bioanne (Namiye Senol) to serve their delicious Turkish meals exclusively made with healthy, pure and organic ingredients – in short, food prepared with love, passion and patience.

Lahana Sarma (cabbage stuffed with rice, meat and spices)

23 till 27 August : Chef Simo Bouabgha

In Amsterdam’s Witte de Withstraat you’ll find Meneer de Wit Heeft Honger, a restaurant that serves pure, good food which features delicate, but still distinct flavours, all under supervision of chef Simo Bouabgha, who learned to cook in his grandmother’s kitchen in Morocco. During the second half of the festival he’ll do his magic at Rialto.
