Just before his graduation Reda, son of Moroccan immigrants, is forced to go on a pilgrimage to Mecca with his father. The old man only sees one way to get there: by car… A difficult journey seems to lie ahead, as the two men have little in common. Although they’re forced to be together day and night, they still don’t manage to understand each other.

Comic incidents, chance encounters and personal confrontations make the journey into an unpredictable adventure. It will take a 5,000-kilometre trip through Europe and the Middle East before father and son finally manage to have a real talk.
