CiberCuba is a digital medium that brings all the news from Cuba: politics, sports, opinion, entertainment and of course film. GO CUBA !, the project with which Rialto's festival World Cinema Amsterdam supports independent Cuban filmmakers, has also made headlines: Carlos Quintela and Heidi Hassan, no strangers to WCA, together will direct the documentary La ley invisible.
Quintela won the WCA Jury Prize for La piscina in 2013, while Hassan won the prize for Best Feature Length Documentary for In a Whisper (A media voz) last IDFA.
